In this project, based on the criteria of meeting the design requirements and being moderately advanced, combined with the different functional areas and different application requirements of Sofitel Shanghai Jinhui Hotel, Zhaolong Interconnection proposed to mainly adopt S Series Class E low smoke halogen-free (IEC 60332-1) cabling system and E series Class E cabling system solutions, which met the requirements of Sofitel Hotel project for high speed, high security, high reliability, scalability, and PoE support.
In today's digital age, the successful operation of a modern international five-star hotel depends on an efficient, reliable and advanced cabling system. Sofitel Jinhui is well aware of this, so it attaches great importance to the construction of its integrated wiring system. However, in the face of the growing demand for informatization and intelligence, hotels are facing a series of problems and challenges in the wiring system. First, as technology evolves, hotels need to support higher data rates to meet guests' demand for high-speed internet access. This requires not only high bandwidth capability for the cabling system, but also the ability to handle a large number of concurrent connections without degrading performance. In addition, in order to ensure the security of information transmission and prevent data leakage or unauthorized access, the cabling system must adopt advanced security measures, such as encryption technology and strict access control.
Second, reliability is an integral part of hotel operations. Any network failure can lead to service disruptions, impact customer experience, and even financial losses. As a result, cabling systems need to be designed to be robust enough to operate stably under a wide range of conditions, as well as to be easy to maintain and recover quickly.
In addition, with the expansion of the hotel business and the upgrading of technology, the cabling system should have good scalability, so that it can be easily upgraded or added to new services in the future. At the same time, it is especially important to support the PoE (Power over Ethernet) function, as it allows the simultaneous transmission of power and data over Ethernet cables, which is essential for the deployment of devices such as IP phones and wireless APs.
Finally, considering environmental protection and health factors, it is also necessary to choose wiring products made of LSZH materials. These products release less smoke in the event of a fire, helping to reduce the risk of casualties and improve evacuation efficiency.
